The XL-1 is legendary for its proven rock-solid performance and reliability. The XL-1 features 6 or 7-cell operation and can easily handle modified motors down to 16 turns. The XL-1’s proportional control allows the power output to be reduced to as little as 50%. It’s great for younger drivers who are not yet ready for top speed action. As their skills improve, just turn up the power! Built in circuitry prevents runaways by maintaining full control when the battery is almost completely discharged.
