Shipping policy

Please note that the system uses a standard box to calculate an approximate shipping cost. There may be cases where the shipping cost might be higher than the originally quoted shipping cost due to order size. In those cases, we may ask for the difference to be paid before the order is shipped. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation!

We ship to most countries. Orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days. We use Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator for shipping. We also offer local pick up. If you did not find your preferred carrier on the checkout page, please contact us with the order number and we'll provide you a shipping quote.

Please note that you may see Canada Post as the only shipping carrier option during checkout. If the shipping costs the same with UPS or Purolator but promises faster delivery, we may use UPS or Purolator to ship your order instead of Canada Post.

In some cases we may not be able to ship some paints, glues or other items considered hazardous goods to your address.  We will contact you when processing your order to inform you of any restrictions and offer you alternatives or an option to cancel specific items in your order, or the entire order. Appropriate amounts will be refunded back to your original for of payment depending on the chosen option.

When ordering from a country other than Canada, all import related fees/duties/taxes are responsibility of the customer. Sid's Cars & Hobbies cannot be held responsible for delayed or non-delivery of items due to late payment or unpaid import fees/duties/taxes. These fees/duties/taxes are paid to the importing country's government. Please contact your respective country's postal service or customs for more details about the fees/duties/taxes.
